I skied Hyland this morning (before 9am) and the trails were in remarkably good shape. It's a little icy around the lake, but otherwise wonderful for late March. Both classic tracks and skate deck are good shape.

Unsurprisingly, the trails were hard and icy. Leaf debris was also frequent from the wind. Skate deck was in better shape and more forgiving than the tracks, especially for striding uphill. The lake loop was very icy with snow drifts in several places. Honestly felt more like ice sailing on Hoth than skiing today with the wind.

Pretty soggy late in the afternoon. Skate decks were soft through out. Only a handful of skiers were out. Skin skiers were reporting good grip, but slow down hillls. Low lying areas (on natural trails) were showing signs of pooling.

Perfect conditions before sunrise. The snow was exquisite. All of the ice from a couple days ago is gone. Wonderful late-season ski!

Immaculate: skied all 15k of natural and manmade trails. Break out your neon spandex super suit and those long skinny race skis as we enjoy our extended season sublime days!

Classic skied around 3pm, tracks were still in great shape, skate deck looked good with only modest use. Great skiing for midafternoon!

What a great day to be out skiing in the sunshine! I skied all the trails and the tracks were pretty good everywhere. The tracks on Lake trail were breaking down but they were still skiable. Get out skiing while the skiing is good!

Perfect snow + perfect grooming + bright sun! What a great day for skiing! Skate deck was still very firm 3:00 till 4:30 even with a lot of sun. Classic tracks looked perfect everywhere. I skated all trails—snowmaking and natural snow. Even saw a coyote on the lake!

Skied the lake and hill trails and a section of the manmade snow trail. All are in great condition, beautifully groomed, and skiing in the warm sun was fantastic. It's been a long time since we got to ski in mid-March with these conditions. Thanks to the groomers for continuing in what seems to be an extended season!

Very enjoyable evening classic ski on natural loops in mid-March. Tracks a little soft but coverage good on all trails with little debris.
