Did classic on Lake/Hill and the southern part of North. A tad sticky at one point, but otherwise, as always at Hyland, trails were well packed and tracked. Great conditions!

Snowmaking loop and Lake Trail were in excellent shape for classic, with deeply set tracks. Skate deck was in excellent condition, too.

Skied the man made snow trails just to get to the natural snow trails. North trail was excellent with perfect tracking. Only saw three other skiers on the North trail. After a break, skied Lake and Hill trails. Lake had some washed out tracks and was thinner. But Hill had nearly perfect tracks since nobody else was skiing it. Overall, it was a great ski after the 3 to 4 inches of new snow last night.

Skated all man-made snow and natural trails at 3pm. Everything is a tad soft, especially the natural trails, and especially those which are less traveled. Overall good though and nice to be out in the warmer weather.

Natural snow tracks on North Loop and Nature Center Spur were a joy this morning with my skin skis. Man-made snow tracks were also nice, of course, but a little icy.

The snow continues to be good at Hyland! I skied all the natural snow trails and they were all in good condition for this time of year. Classic tracks were good in most places. Of course the snow was slow and melty (especially in the low lying areas) but that is to be expected. Track were just barely starting to get icy when I left around 4pm. Debris was minimal throughout. Overall, conditions were great and it was nice to be out skiing in the sun!

Excellent snow continues! Skate skied all the trails between 10:00 am and 11:30 am. Very little ice, just a few small patches on Lake Trail. Very little leaf litter. Classic tracks appeared good everywhere. Snow getting a little soft by 11:00 am with temp of 34°F and partly sunny.

The Hyland crew did a great job grooming after the overnight snowfall! Skate skiing was faster than expected with nice firm base and no ice. Great spring skiing!

Skate skied all of the trails at Hyland between 11 AM and 12:30 PM. Snow condition/grooming was fantastic, both on the manufactured snow, and the natural snow! Only a few small areas of ice starting to form on the far side of the lake trail. Only one area of minor leaf/bark litter on the lake trail. Classic tracks generally looked good too. By 12 PM, a couple of the uphills that directly faced the sun, we're starting to soften up and get a bit churned. Everything else was still quite firm. Then the clouds came in and blocked a lot of the sun, which had been pretty bright up until then. Air temp was about 29°F when I started and 36°F when I finished.
