Once again, as it was yesterday, classic track and skate deck are in excellent condition. Some ice in the tracks and surprisingly few leaves and debris in them. The most leaves are in the home stretch from the yellow loop. And, of course, a little bare ground at the end of the yellow loop on the north side.

Beautiful skate deck and classic tracks throughout the east side trails. I skied everything and only saw dirt twice and was very easy to avoid. Trails are glazing so kick wax with some klister mixed in, might be best.

The ski trails are in great shape, the trails were groomed earlier today and the skiing was perfect. Bed is firm and in good shape for both skate and classical. Considering it is March 13th, it is wonderful that they are in excellent shape for this time of year.

The trails are incredible! Yeah, watch out for the icy spots. Tracks are excellent. Blue special was working nicely at 5:30 pm.

Newly groomed and perfect! Classic tracks are excellent. A few icy moments, no leaves. Only one foot small dirt spot, on the south end of the yellow loop where it always melts most. Easily avoided. And, I would say the skate deck is also in excellent condition. Get out there quick.

Happy to report the classic tracks are back! Solid too. Skied them all I think. We don't get sun and 30 degrees on a pristine track too often. Get yours today.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The East side has been packed/rolled and retracked this morning. Things groomed out to be pretty nice conditions. Minimal icy spots and debris. Grooming plans will be to get to the West side Multi-use trails either later this afternoon or early tomorrow.

Another snow globe day. Groomers rolled everything since yesterday, including wiping out the classic track and not resetting it. Puzzling. Still fun to be out, skins worked well enough to kick and glide the skate deck, which was soft and ruffled up.

I classic skied Lake Elmo Park between 4:30 and 6 pm this afternoon and found the classic tracks pretty much used up which I expected after the snow yesterday and overnight. I skied in the tracks where I could then on the skate deck when tracks disappeared. The sun was breaking through when I arrived at the park around 4:30pm, and the snow on the skate deck was soft and skiable. On the Browns Pond section, three deer crossed the trail and then went behind some trees and just stared at me which allowed me to take a picture. With the soft layer of snow, the downhill sections were more fun than when it's an ice slick. Enjoyable ski, office was closed so could not check on when the groomers were planning their next grooming session.

A lot of fresh snow but no groomed tracks or rolled deck. That somewhat surprised me as a lot of people were at the park. The tracks went from mostly none, to some degree of human made here and there, to wiped out by the skaters.
