Skied on Nordic backcountry skis. Great deep powder - CT and PT we're with. Headed up sledding hill next to old chalet then did some loops out on the golf course. Thank you Snow Gods! Fun out there even with one scorpion fall ;)

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
North Theo wasn't rolled, but there were many quadruple, triple, double, and single people made classic tracks at your disposal! It was nice to ski all of the Meadow loop and Twin Lakes. The downhills were a little dicey, but exciting. Then I went and skied the rolled south trails. They were well used by the skaters. I skied mostly on the people made classic tracks. Thanks to the groomers for rolling all the south trails!

Ran into the trailhead and bought a couple passes. So excited to be on real snow! Skied Trailhead to Wirth lake. Trails all rolled but not tracked. Three cheers for the groomer! I cleared a few sticks off the trail and had a great morning!

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
With the warm temps this week and the dwindling snow pack, Sunday was our last day of grooming for this season. Thanks for making the most of this warm winter with us, and we'll see you out on the trails again in the fall!

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Skied 15k loops of La Squadra and the Finger (1.25k loop, the only thing skiable except stadium) around 11am, roughly 30 degrees. Snow was in better shape than I expected and a smoker of a workout. Was getting soft from sunshine but still a good ski! An ambitious and super fast skier out there put in 50k of hill repeats!! Park at chalet lot.

Once again a great morning at Theo on the La Squadra to North Finger loop. Groomers have done a great job this week keeping up with the temps. Hopefully they keep it up over the weekend!

I took advantage of the rare opportunity to get out in the mid morning spring ski window and it was great. Lots of hill climbing as I did the north finger and la squadra loop, though I did see people skiing in the lower stadium area. Lots of grit in the snow on the ridge so B skis. The control was excellent and I could really take the downhill aggressively which was fun. Judging by the cord at the edge of the trail it must have been groomed this morning. So thank you Wirth groomers for helping provide moments of joy to us skiers this winter.

Beautiful morning for some fun Friday hill repeats on North Finger and La Squadra. Great conditions for classic and skate - with added thrill of tailwind on the way down Squadra! And also a nice tailwind climbing out of the Finger!

What a difference a few more degrees of warmth makes! This morning's ski around 7 AM was completely different than yesterday's ski at the same time. Other than the uphill on the North Finger, the skate deck was anything but firm. Making turns down hills was tricky with all the sugary snow.
