Skied a few laps of the manmade snow loop. Little bit of slipping and sliding. Take care on the biggest downhill it's not terrible but definitely some ice there.

Skied the manmade loop early this morning. There was 1-2" of new snow on top of crusty groomed snow. There were lots of folks out at 6:00 a.m., so the track was getting skied in nicely. It was not so deep as to slow things down, so really nice skiing. Groomer was out on the Piston Bully around 7:00 creating beautiful (but a little soft) corduroy. Thanks in advance to the trail crews! We appreciate the work you all do so that we can ski on such fabulous trails!

Snowmaking loops (2.5k) were groomed this morning, and new snow continues to fall. Grooming plans: We are likely going to stay off of natural snow trails until temps drop and conditions dry out. The snow that has fallen is quite wet, with a lot of moisture already underneath. Anything that gets packed right now is turning to slush, which would then be icy and ungroomable once temps drop.

The artificial snow trails were in excellent shape and they were continuing snowmaking. Currently available: flat loop part of Green Meadow cutting back near holes 3-4, and a larger hill as part of the Ridgeline Trail by the tubing hill.

Some grass sticking through on the bridge trail. Skyline is getting very thin but surprisingly ok. They expanded the lower stadium teaching area and there was a ton of classes taking advantages of the room. It was crowded but everyone looked pretty happy. Man made snow was just soft enough for a relative beginner like me to feel comfortable.

Went on the natural snow east of the trailhead. Apart from two spots - the train underpass, which was bare carpet, and the bridge to Tornado Alley, which had gravel and bare spots, the trails were surprisingly good. There were user-made tracks in most sections of Skyline and Tornado, and the thin/bare spots were easily avoided. The Hwy 55 underpass and the Bassett's Creek bridge had full snow cover. JD Rivers looked thin, so I turned back there.

Generally very nice though Tornado Alley. A torn and uncovered carpet is at the railroad underpass just down from the upper Trailhead parking lot. I thought I was clear but caught a tip and went down hard.

Skied Skyline and Tornado Alley. The deck had actually held up quite well despite the wind. Still pretty loose in a lot of spots with potential to push through to cart paths, gravel, etc, but overall solid coverage.
