Skied tornado alley and skyline. They are in fair shape, some ice here and there, but still full coverage. The highway 55 underpass is icy and some small rocks are visible.

Per the loppet website, there are now trail closures, but still skiing available through the weekend. Conditions were a little icier than yesterday, but skating was good and the classic tracks looked great. I skied 3.8 km loop which I think is about all you can do.

I skied Skyline, the meadow and stadium loop near the Trailhead. Conditions were firm, as expected but still quite skiable. I was surprised to be the first skater on Skyline this morning, fresh corduroy, so I did two loops. Aside from a couple sketchy iced up corners, the skate deck was superb. Thank you groom team.

Skated both the man-made and natural snow on the North end of Theo today and both were in fantastic shape given it is late March (and the first day of Spring)! I skied Tornado Alley and Skyline on the natural snow and both did have some icy patches but almost exclusively in tree shaded areas. Go out and get some while it's still here!

Late march bliss. Skied the Twin Lakes trail four times, grooming was just about perfect. Classic look great too. About as good as it gets, probably top 5 conditions for the season.

It was another great ski at Wirth this afternoon. Lots of skiers out enjoying the trails and sunshine on the last day of winter.

An amazing day on the man-made snow at Theo. I skied classic first and did the stadium and North Finger and Judy and the tracks were outstanding. Only a couple small ice spots, quite manageable. Now if only I'd waxed properly. I finished with a short skate loop in the meadow and superb grooming made for a final short session. I hope for a few more days of skating.

Skied the snowmaking trails starting at 11am - everything except North Finger and Judy Loop. The tracks were in good shape but had snow in them in spots due to wind. Didn't notice any ice.

I skied the natural snow on Skyline and Bridge trails, then back to the man-made snow loop. The natural tracks were shallow, but except for a couple of spots where windblown snow covered them, were in good shape. The dusting we got last night, plus blowing snow, covered the ice so the no-wax skis had enough kick. There are a couple of ice patches, the biggest being right at the entrance, but were not really problems. An amazing ski for this late in March.

I'm running out of superlatives to describe Wirth this winter. This wonderful season just keeps giving. The classic tracks on exposed parts of the Judy (my crush) were saved from being icy by being partially filled with fresh blown powder, which made for some slow going and double poling on the downhills, but overall great kick with fish scales and pretty good glide. I hope it's able to be groomed again tonight! The artificial snow loops are as good as ever. In addition to thanking the groomers and snow makers, the Loppet, and everyone who bought a pass this year, I'd like to take a moment to appreciate the glaciers that gave us this wonderful topography! Right on to moraines!
