Nice afternoon ski at Elm Creek. Skied most of the natural snow trails, as well as the man-made snow loop. A surprising mix of conditions -- everything from icy, to crusty fast to soft and some really slow sections. Most of it was very good conditions though, and the slow or really icy sections were very scattered. Good snow depth still, good skis just fine. Strong wind made a few sections "less fun" but otherwise a very nice outing.

Perfect day at Elm Creek. Skied Valley, Multiuse, Lake and Northern Light ca 9:00 am. All freshly groomed including Multiuse. Fast hard snow, very few icy spot, good grip overall and fast conditions, almost nobody on the trails.

Wonderful ski on Northern Lights - out of the wind, so no debris or wind blown tracks - nicely groomed deep tracks. Skate deck was very good also. Valley trail was windy and blown in in some places. Thank you groomers.

Amazing midwinter conditions on all the natural ski trails! It has been years since I skied on the Creek and Lake trails and forgot how beautiful and quiet it is out in the prairie! I also skied on the multi-purpose outer trail and it was great for skate skiing!

Skied Valley and Northern lights around 9:30 am. Valley had perfect grooming as usual, NL very good grooming a little more usage. Classic tracks had been reset. Snow faster than yesterday, incredible conditions for mid March.

It was awesome! I classic skied Valley from Main Lodge to Lake and then to Creek and back to Lake, then Northern Lights back to Lodge. All the tracks were set and only a little melting. Some ice but it was an incredible spring skiing day with the sun bringing so much warmth! Cheers to the groomers!

Skied Lake, Eagle, Northern Lights and half of Valley just to get back to my truck. All trails had nice deep tracts but Lake had some spots that were icy with some crud ice that nearly stopped me. Northern Lights had the best tracks all season, deep with no ice. Of course, Valley tracks were in excellent condition. Temps were 15 degrees when I started but with the sun, felt much warmer.

A winter wonderland. Magical. Everything was so well groomed. I skated every skate trail and was in awe the entire time...Eastman nature center, northern loop, part of Lake, all of it perfect. Thanks to the four groomers I saw out there. The loop around Eastman Nature Center is a hidden gem.

Best ski of the season! Grooming in process on Eagle, but Monarch skied-in tracks worked well. Other trails groomed and tracked. Blue hard wax early in the day was great. Open water on the creeks just added to the wonder. Good to be in Minnesota in winter (usually.).
