Trail Loppet Coverage

Fresh some of the season's first snowflakes falling in far northern Minnesota, the Trail Loppet had a chilly start as over 1000 runners took to the hilly terrain of south Theodore Wirth Saturday morning. Noah Delong powered away from Chris Lundstrom and set a blistering pace, literally, for the half marathon as he took victory in 1:17:54. Angela Larson bested the womens field, finishing 14th overall at 1:33:57. Peter Terrell and Lydia Novotny collected the 13.1K titles, 5K victories for Martin Odima and Tracey Souvignier.
