Waxing is limited to High-Fluoro (HF) Low-Fluor (LF) and Hydrocarbon (CH) waxes. Abiding by this rule creates better competition and consistency for everyone, thank you for your cooperation. • Jan 22 Boulder Lake Ski Race (Duluth, MN)  Check trail reports
    • Jan 17 update:
Trails are in really great shape currently for Sunday's skate race with 11:00 start time. Note it's skate ski and snowshoe only. No classic. Measured 5-6" packed base on the skate deck today in many different areas. Shoveled pretty much every climb today to be proactive knowing warmer weather is coming. Flash registration opened yesterday with several price hikes this week. The race will be a go even if really warm weather comes. If extremely warm people will need to use B skis instead of their race skis I imagine. Hoping since it's north of Duluth, temps will be cooler and rain isn't substantial. We posted a video on our Facebook race page showing several minutes of what the trail is like. Expecting a large turnout of skaters and snowshoers.
      - Clayton Keim
  • Jan 22 Langlauf at St. John's (Collegeville, MN)  Check trail reports
    • Jan 18 update:
The race committee just met this afternoon. As of now, we will hosting the race. We have a decent snow base and since the trails are hidden in the woods so they are a little bit protected from the sun and heat. Due to the weather, it may be recommended to use B skis, but barring catastrophe we will be having all of the races as their advertised distances.
      - Jay Grootwassink
  • Jan 28 Duluth CCSA/JNQ (Duluth, MN)
    • Jan 20 update:
Due to the forecasted warm and wet temperatures the organizing committee has met to discuss contingencies for the upcoming races in Duluth. Currently the Marshall Trails are in excellent condition. We anticipate that the trails will weather the warm-up and any damage caused by the warm-up will be repaired. We are dedicated to hosting a high quality event. We appreciate your patience as we wait for the weather to play out. The organizing committee will assess the course and snow conditions on Monday Jan 23. A decision will be announced on Tuesday Jan 24. Note: Registration will close at midnight on Tuesday Jan 24 - no exceptions.
      - Jason Kask
