September 14, 2013Temperatures in the 60s and sunny skies made a gorgeous start to the 2013 Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival Saturday morning. The mens race had selected down to a dozen in the lead pack by the mid-point and then brought 5-6 riders to the line for the final rush with Brian Matter taking the title just in front of TJ Woodruff. In the womens race, Chloe Woodruff reeled in Jenna Rinehart in the second half and pulled away to ride in for the solo victory. Short and Fat titles went to Brett Poulton and Jennifer Nowlin.
