North End Ski Club to Hold Pig Roast Fund Raiser

The North End Ski Club in Cable will hold a fund raising pig roast on Sunday, September 28 at the North End Trailhead, two miles south of Cable on Randysek Rd.

The North End Ski Club grooms and maintains 30 km of ski trails on the Bayfield County Forest and all proceeds from the event will benefit the club to aid in the purchase new grooming equipment and replace an aging snowmobile.

It will be an afternoon of fun activities, games, food, and cold beverages. Among the day's activities will be a trail run/hike/bike at 11:00; Yard games - Ladder Ball, Bean Bag, Washers – participants are invited to bring their favorite yard game - at 12:00; and Food from 1:00 to 2:30 including roast pig, slow roasted turkey, and veggie burgers. The games will continue until 4:00.

Participants are also asked to bring a camp chair or picnic blanket.

In case of inclement weather this event will be held at the Cable Community Center at 1:00 pm.

A donation to the North End Ski Club's grooming equipment replacement fund of $15.00 is suggested. A special thank you to Divine Swine Catering for their generous assistance with this event.
