Fair, you can still use good skis with a little care. Icy underneath with an inch or two of fresh snow on top. Pretty fast and good shape considering the warm weather yesterday.

Conditions: Excellent skating, groomed today.
The skate lane was near perfect on Tuesday evening after being groomed during the day. Gliding was fast and easy on a level and wide skate lane. Surface was firm with just the right amount of loose snow on top. Classic tracks are very good throughout but were not reset in today's grooming. Amazing conditions considering the low snow year and numerous thaw-freeze cycles we have experienced.

Icy. Skate skiers have been out. There are some fast downhills. Classic track is icy but skiable. Lot of debris on the trail by the chalet.

Just groomed this morning. A little slow going. Leave the B skis in the quiver. Almost hated to scuff up the deck..... almost.

Conditions: Skate ski do-able, classic tracks missing most of trail.
Just skied the big loop, icy conditions with lots of pine needles on trail. But first skate ski of the year for me, although with old skis. As the song title says 'let it snow'! I want to try my new skis out!

Conditions: Freshly groomed; a bit soft; no classic tracks set.
The trail is freshly groomed. The skate deck is a bit soft and rutted and there are some pine needles covering the snow, especially on the ski jump hill. Classic tracks are not set. I had a marvelous time and used my racing skis with no problem.
