Entire trail was groomed and tracked. With the cold temperatures the trail should firm up and be in great shape. With all the new snow, pole plants may be soft. As the weather warm, the trail may become icy. Trail is groomed wide to accommodate snowshoeing to the side of the classic track.

Classic skied loops A-B-H-J-K-L. Track half melted down, 1/2" soft crust on top. Track would be ok with one set of skis tracking.

New trail for me. Two access points, I started from the south lot. No one there. Very nice classic only trail. Gentle terrain, with open areas adding to the scenery. Recently groomed. Unfortunately the warm sun was by this time softening the snow which forced me to take breaks, go slow and just enjoy the solitude.

Trail was last groomed previous Friday. With the 1" of rain we received Tuesday, followed by freezing temperatures, the trail is solid packed frozen snow. Additional grooming will not be possible until we get more snow. Snowshoes recommended at this time mainly for traction.

Trail was groomed and tracked for classic skiing. We were able to break up the crystallized crust on the surface of snow and the track set very well. The cool temperatures should help firm up the trail for some great weekend skiing. With the warm days and cool nights, the trail may become icy over time. Only a few light snowfalls since the last grooming. Track is still in fair shape and very skiable. We had hoped to groom before the weekend but we are having equipment problems. Hope to have it resolve so we can groom by early next week.

The packed trail set up well overnight and the entire trail was groomed and tracked today. The track set great. With the cooler temperatures, the base and track should firm up providing for some great classic skiing.
