Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were groomed this morning for classic and skate skiing. All trails in great shape with two sets of diagonal tracks and a middle skate lane. The side spur trail up to the Community College is also groomed and a fun addition to the main trail. Parking for the ski trail is available on both sides of the Rum River in West Park.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Late afternoon ski as very light snow was falling. Prior grooming of center skate lane and diagonal tracks on either edge now covered by 1 to 2 inches soft, wet snow. Someone had skied in one of the classic tracks and it was good to go. At another portion of trail section someone walked their dog on one of the diagonal tracks and ruined it. The center skate lane was challenging ski, but doable for some exercise.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails groomed Thursday night and ready for the weekend. All trails in great shape. A nice feature of the Cambridge trails is that there are classic tracks set on both sides of the skate lane making it more fun to ski/visit while skiing with friends.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails are groomed for both classic and skate. Most of the trail are groomed. The main trail is groomed and open. Will be soft today but should set up eventually. This trail is all in the woods. Makes it a good trail on cold days. Grooming plans: The small barn loop has not been groomed. Will groom after the big winds of Friday pass. The College hill trail will be closed until much trail repair work is completed. The ice storm brought down many trees over that stretch of trail.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Good skiing on all groomed trails. One section not open due to a tree down from the heavy snowfall. Still working to clear all damage from snow storm on trail system. But, trails very skiable and good base. Light coating of snow on trails since last grooming.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skated the outer loop along Rum River edge and the trails were very nice, skiable even though minimal coverage. The connector trail going to the south section is rough, but skiable. No rocks, just some roots and debris that you can easily avoid. No classsic tracks, not enough snow. I enjoyed the outing. It is a nice trail system. Thanks groomers for making the effort to lay down a nice base.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Packed and graded a portion of thte trail. Inside 2k loop is skiable. No tracks set. Best used for skate skiing at this point. Definitely use old skis. No rocks but could touch grass, dirt or sticks. Early season training for desperate. Most parts completely snow covered but barely.
