Skied the red bird trail to the Woodland trail. Turned around because there was just too much bare ground. There were some sections where the tracks were nice and fast but also with great kick. However, there were also many bare spots and/or rocks to be avoided. Someone was out hiking on the ski trail with their dog as I was finishing up.

I skied the whole park midday-a clear sky and 18°. The fresh snow fall and beautifully cut tracks made for a great day. Tracks are a little thin in a couple areas with grass and roots visible, but I found no problem avoiding these.

Trails in great condition. Best condition of the year. Few thin spots on horse trail sections due to drifting, but otherwise in fantastic shape.

With recent snow falls, coverage was finally good at High Cliffs when I skied on Sunday afternoon. Trail conditions were mixed; the tracks in the popular wooded areas near the cliff were pretty beat up from skiers and lots of walkers; the less popular horse trails were pristine and great to ski. (Photos are from the south meadow.) Some tree roots are still poking above the snow in wooded areas.

Skate and classic trails Have been packed and tracked. Trails are in good condition overall. Expect some drifting due to high winds and continuation of snowfall. Grooming plans: Will be out to groom again on Tuesday; grooming will not occur over the weekend due to the holiday.
