classic track set and in good condition, with the exception of a few melted out spots. Skate trail groomed and is about the best it has been in a few years. Maintenance has been more frequent, thanks to KVR staff! Able to sail along without running into lots of boot holes and ruts, bed is firm and nicely packed. Hopefully any warm spell won't melt out too many areas.

Very nice firm skate deck. Still just a very few small areas where it is thin but kudos to the KVR staff for making a great ski trail grooming. Worthy of a visit.

Officially, all trails are open, but the Harris trail is quite thin where there is Southern exposure and you have to step over a small creek which currently has some open water so I would not advise using that trail. I was not on the Star Valley Trail, but skied past it and it looked ok where it intersects the Old 131 Trail. The Old 131 trail was likely groomed and tracked at the end of last week, but a bit of snow fell over the weekend which made the skiing very smooth. The base is not deep, but consistent and should hold until the temperatures warm up.

Trails were in good shape with nice new corduroy. A few thin spots under overhanging evergreens but 99% of trail very skiable. Track was set and in good shape for striding.

Great conditions. Groomed for skate only at this point. My tracks were the only ones. Im hoping they set tracks soon. Already a winter wonderland. Also hope hikers stay off the trail.
