Did the 6.4 mile Razorback loop on my classic skis. No classic track set, but rolled trails are in pretty good shape. The hills are great if you like the exhilaration. Only feared for my life a couple times. :-) Did meet three hikers as they were coming up a hill and they scattered as I flew by them (don't understand why some think it's ok to hike on groomed trails).

Murphy is not ready for prime time. Disappointingly, there were no classic tracks set at all as of this morning. The ski deck is inconsistent, with sticks, soft pits and holes mixed in with firm packed trail, making for a challenging ski. At one point on the outer loop you fly down a hill into a sea of heavy swamp grass. It's still beautiful, but Murphy needs ample snow for quality conditions, and right now it does not have it. Grooming is poor as a result.

Skated the razorback trail this morning. Snow depth and grooming are good. A little bit of debris and one big rock poking through, but easily avoidable. I think the hills might be steeper this year :).
