The groomer was out first thing this morning working both the skating deck and setting new tracks. By 1:00 pm when I got there about 1/2" of new snow had fallen. The tracks were firm but pretty slow. The skating deck was a bit soft in most places, but still skiable. Cold overnight temps should set up both skating and classic to be very good.

The groomer was out first thing this morning scruffing up the surface and laying down new corduroy. Skating is medium fast to fast with total edge control. The tracks are hard and fast with still only a few oaks leaves.

Wow. Spring skiing at its best. Excellent skating and classical this morning. Fresh grooming of both the skating deck and the classic tracks.

Yesterday's 1.5" of new snow was not groomed. The skating deck has been skied in and is pretty well packed down. No new classic tracks were set and with the winds gusting the oak leaves are starting to infiltrate.

The icy, hard-pack skating deck that resulted from the warming/cooling temps was groomed today, resulting in a pebbly corduroy that was controllable and mostly fast. The steep hills were not groomed. No new classic tracks were set: the existing tracks are hard with some glazed spots--but fast.

Spring skiing conditions this morning: The skate deck was mostly hard-packed snow at first but softened as the temps got into the mid-30s. The icy spots softened except in the shade. Fast conditions. The classic track is slightly glazed in south-facing or sunny stretches, but the track is intact, mostly clear of debris, and fast.

Both skating and classic are excellent. The skating deck is firm but just soft enough to have complete edge control. The classic tracks are all new, firm and fast.

The skating deck was groomed on Friday and is in good shape. Stretches near the chalet are packed down but further out there is more fresh corduroy. Some of the classic tracks were reset but most were not. The new are excellent and the existing are good, but a little washed out.

Plenty of snow and in good shape, although the trails hadn't been groomed since the snow we had on Tuesday night. Classic tracks were a little rough in areas, could use resetting. The skate deck was solid.

No grooming after the 1" of snow on Tuesday. The center of the skating deck is well-skied-in and tend to be medium hard, but the fringes have better edge control. The classic tracks are solid and have been skied in enough that they are getting faster. Few oak leaves.
