Trail Reports

2017-2018 season
Reports 43 to 46 of 46    Month: Apr | Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec
Sunday, December 31, 2017
Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails are in fairly good shape. There are a few spots with grass or dirt. Very slow due to the cold conditions, but not crowded at all.

Thursday, December 28, 2017
Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
As of 4:00 pm the 1" of new snow had not been groomed into the prior rough grooming, so the surface was still uneven with ruts from the groomer and from the pickup truck that had driven on parts of the trail.

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
1-2" base. Lots of brush stems poking through and thin spots where the tracks of the snow machine were not covered up by the groomer. Then, as usual, someone drove a pickup truck on the trail and dug two ruts from Intersection 70 and east (the eastern trails). Overall skiable, but poor conditions. More snow would make a big improvement.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
All trails are rolled. There are some sandy lumps and a few roots poking through the surface of the snow. No tracks set.
