Grooming
[ Bare ground ]
5"+ overnight of loose, dry powder. 40km with corduroy, 38km with tracks, 1km only rolled. Snow is a bit soft as grooming started after midnight, but track sidewalls are holding up. Ungroomed trails may be skied-in. PB was used on 10km with very good results. No dirt nor rocks showing, but some grass blades. Rock skis are recommended for your first lap.

Grooming
Conditions: Only a trace of new snow in the past 24-hours, but coverage and glide are still good. Grass/rock skis are still recommended. We compacted and set corduroy on another 7km last night. Best skiing is Base Loop, Tornado, and Wolf Tracks out to the cabin and back. Several trail cautions--see full board for details. Unpacked 2.5" of snow on all other trails. Longer trails will be opened and signed as conditions permit.
Heikki Lunta needs your snow dances by Monday evening.

Grooming
[ Bare ground ]
Good for the amount of snow. Almost 20km of the interior trails have been rolled/compacted. It's corduroy on 1" of dense snow that skis nicely. Several trail cautions--see full board for details. Most skiers say the trails ski like a 2 or 3 out of 5. Grass/rock skis are still recommended. The wet, heavy powder on other trails has settled down to 2.5".

Grooming
[ Bare ground ]
Conditions: Very thin snow.
Rain is forecast for Wednesday, so Tuesday may be the last grass/rock skiing day until the next snowfall. The best option has been to take Base Loop to Tornado (with one short walk over a thin patch), ski out Tornado Alley, turn left onto Survivor, and ski the Base Loop backwards back to Tornado Alley. Take Base Loop either direction back to the chalet. Then do another snow dance.
