Conditions: Snow cover was down to 0.25" to 1.5" today. A few skaters and striders have reported decent rock skiing so long as they were very careful not to hit boulders and roots. Light rain started around 4PM, but it's expected to shift to snow soon.
Last week's snow is mostly holding, with a little grass showing in sunny, open areas next to buildings and trees. Grooming will commence after another 8"-10" of snowfall. Trail signs are up on the Base Loop, Cookie Loop, and "Cookie Crumb" Loop (Sleigh Ride & Tea Kettle).

Conditions: All trails are closed. 2" of sleet, snow, and graupel fell yesterday. The snow compacts down to 1/2". It's not enough for skiing, but is sticking to the frozen ground. Once we get 10"-12" more, we'll begin grooming our trails.
Minocqua Winter Park is an active deer hunting area. If you do venture onto the trails, please wear blaze orange.
