We had all 4 groomers out early this morning, including both Pisten bullys, powertilling. 75 km were groomed and skiers were very happy with dry powder conditions. It is snowing now and 4 groomers are scheduled back to regroom in the morning.

Great day for skiing at ABR. Firm skating deck. Jumped in tracks on several downhills. Fast. Grooming was excellent as usual.

Such good conditions yesterday and today. Barely any debris and perfectly groomed. Amazing! I skied River, Sulo's loop, tamarack, otter slide, wolf tracks, hemlock, popple flats, blueberry, meadow ridge, cherry dairy, memory lane, jack pine, and white pine and it was the perfect winter wonderland and perfect temperature!

Outstanding day of classical skiing at ABR. Perfectly groomed as usual. Skied mainly the classic only trails. The new Tamarack two track trail gives a good direct route to access Otter Slide and Wolf Tracks. I also did a Ridge Runner which was groomed this week for classic only skiing. If you get a chance do this trail, it is a lot of fun because of its roller coaster terrain. The skating trails appeared to be in excellent shape, but I did not ski any of them.

Great skiing this weekend at ARB! Trails were immaculately groomed. Tons of snow. Trees were beautifully snow covered. I highly recommend skiing at ABR. Definitely worth a weekend trip from Milwaukee.

The skiing today was super; We picked up another 5 inches of snow today, and the temps dropped to the teens. We plan to regroom with a full crew in the morning. We are at 91 inches of snowfall for this season, ahead of last year! 75 km are being groomed just about daily. The new Tamarack 2 Track is getting great reviews -- the new 12k double tracked classic trail.

Wonderful conditions at ABR this afternoon. Plenty of snow, the usual excellent grooming, and beautiful weather. It always impresses me how well defined the snow belt is here; 20 miles east of Ashland, and suddenly highway 2 gets snowy, drifts start appearing, and by the time I arrive in Ironwood, the snow is deep and the drifts are big.

Wow. Just perfect. The ABR and Sisufest crew outdid themselves for the best Sisufest ever. They groomed all the fresh snow to make firm solid tracks and a firm skate deck. With sunshine and frosted trees, and the cheerleaders at the finish line, you couldn't have asked for nicer conditions.

We groomed all 75 km after the nice dump of snow yesterday, both Pisten Bully's were out and the Bearcats out on the single track trails. The warmer temps with the sun out made for nice skiing on the firm fresh grooming.

Merry Christmas! We picked up another 2 inches last night and we groomed 75 km again this morning. The conditions are excellent but the weather is chilly. We plan to drag another small cabin out to Jason Park in the morning to have another warming area at the south end of the trail system.
