Been striding Ridge Runner for several days now, tracks are firm with good glide despite the frigid temps. Rick has done his best, best line tracking, to date. We're all enjoying it so much that it's been decided to leave it classic till Saturday or Sunday. Enjoy while it lasts.

We had a full groom crew today grooming with both Pisten Bullies and two grooming single tracks. The snow continued after 9 AM so some of the grooming got filled in. We have been open 69 days and have received 125 inches of snowfall. Of the 69 days we have groomed 61 days.

The trails are absolutely immaculate. Spent a few hours and skied 10 miles in the center of the system. The grooming is impeccable. The snow is soft and dry. And the snow coating the trees is absolutely gorgeous. This was the best day I've had on snow ever. Fully trust ABRs grooming report.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We are grooming and skiing on 100 km of trails with a 10-16 inch base. We have received 125" of snowfall since we opened november 19th. The trails are in 'mint' condition! Grooming plans: Full groom crew out in the early morning. We are very happy to see that some southern areas received snow last week and local groomers are providing a close to home ski experience.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received 4 inches of snow this morning and sent out a groom team of five, including both Pisten Bullies. The woods were pretty as a Christmas card. It snowed all day and we received another 3-4 inches after grooming. We saw lots of smiling faces today!

Felt great to be back at ABR. 33 to 35°. Snowing the whole time. Classic skied just about 40 km, with double Highlands loops. Tracks were true, even, and perfect for kicking and gliding in the constant wet new snow. Outside pole plants occasionally broke through, with the warm weather. Glide got slow, especially for the last 20 km. Hill climbs were kickable, downhills were well groomed, and herringboning was almost simple with the firm soft conditions. Alot of smiles from others enjoying the conditions. All and all an awesome day to expend some energy and call it a Birkie trainer. I just might have to come back for another great ski tomorrow! Thank you groomers.

We groomed about 55 km of trails this morning, the combination trails. It did rain while grooming and after but the trails groomed were skiable. Skiers enjoyed getting out especially mid morning after the rain stopped. Grooming plans: We will be back out grooming in the morning.

We skied at ABR from Friday to Tuesday. Skied all the classic trails and many of the combo striding and skate trails. The trails are all in perfect condition and wonderful temps for skiing in January. Tuesday there a light mist in the air which made the classic tracks super fast so had a fun easy day of skiing. I used my wax skis and had no slipping and great glide. Lots of people enjoying the trails.
