Here is the most recent groomer report: Thursday we rolled in 6" of new snow on all trails except Powder house and Bear loops. Plan to drag Friday and have tracks set for weekend. Caution, there is a family hunting off Greenstone and using edge of trail to access their blind, please respect their right to hunt. Gates and cables remain closed. Conditions very good for early season.

Yesterday's rain, which closed the trails, turned to snow about 6 p.m. and left a gift of 4" of new snow that was rolled this morning. Conditions were the best of the early season. All thin spots were nicely covered, and the few wet spots were easily avoided. A few more sections of trail were rolled as well. No tracks set.

26 degrees with a couple of inches of fresh powder overnight on top of the packed base from Wednesday's storm. I didn't encounter any exposed ground, but rated for B skis since there is some exposed brush and twigs as well as a fair amount of leaves in places. Skied Valley, Cedar, Tamarack, and the last section of Powderhouse. The hills on the latter have good coverage. No tracks set, but classic skiers were out making their own. A nice early start to the season.

Wonderful to be out on the trails again! With our cold temps and 12+" of snow, the trails are skiing pretty well for early November. There are lots of oak leaves on parts of Valley and Birch. Birch was otherwise great. Brambles sticking out of the snow and rocks on Les's, so I only went halfway on that, and some brambles on Pine as well. Overall, Birch was in the best shape. The skating was surprisingly firm and fast. Thanks for such an early season start! Classical tracks weren't yet set.

10" of new snow overnight. Some loops were rolled, with soft early season conditions. Gates are still closed to keep vehicles off of trails that have been groomed. Cold and windy. Early November? Fun to be out.

26F at 8:30AM, 36F at 12:30PM, with 1-2" of fresh powder over 0-6" of older snow. Trail work in progress. About 10km rolled with a 1-4" base. Best skiing on Birch and Tamarack loops.
