Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We finally received the snow that we had been hoping for! The trail is set for skate and classic styles and all the loops are ready! You can probably expect some drifting into the trail with the amount of wind that we have had. Other than that you can expect to find the trail in very good shape. If you are looking to beat the crowds this weekend come check out this gem of a trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Groomed all loops, but no tracks set. We need more snow! Expect to see a lot of debris (sticks and pine needles) on the trail. Conditions are fair.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All loops were groomed. Track was set on the 2 Km, 4 Km, and 7 Km loops. The 13 Km does not have tracks set, but is groomed. More snow is needed to set track on the 13 Km loop. Snow base is thin in places (2 inches), so expect to see debris (sticks, leaves, and pine needles) on the trail.

Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
I skied the 4.4 k loop on the way back from the UP. Trails were rolled and combed to an inch or two of solid base. Cold, probably use B skis. It looks like the USFS didn't mow this fall so a lot of twiggy brush in spots. Nice backcountry leg-stretcher on tractor skis. Beautiful trail.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The trail was rolled and packed on Monday. No actual grooming has been completed due to lack of snow and equipment. We experienced some vandalism on our main grooming equipment and are looking at correcting that issue. Hopefully we will be able to get the trail back to a good skiable surface soon! Thank you for your patience.
