The decision has been made to close the ski trails until we get more substantial snow. It has been found to be too icy and dangerous as of this afternoon.

Trails had been groomed following weekend snow. Unfortunately, several walkers have roughed up the skate deck over the entire length of A. Appeared to be a consistent classic track. I used FastWax Red LF (old color scheme). 37 degrees caught me by surprise. I anticipated high 20's or low 30's. Couldn't skate on the uphills as a result but was able to sustain one on the flats. It's a shame walkers ignore the signs banning hiking on the ski trails.
