Trail Reports

2022-2023 season
Reports 21 to 26 of 26    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec | Nov
Saturday, December 31, 2022
Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The coverage is still great in the Ravine. The trails appear to have been groomed since the last warmup, and the skate deck was fast and firm. There is still a track but it is getting a bit thinner in some spots on the trail. You can use B skis, but you might want to lean rock skis if you are especially careful about conditions. There are some sticks in spots, especially in the pine tree segment towards the back.

Trails were packed and tracked as of 12:00pm today. Light debris in the heavily wooded areas but overall the trails are in fair/good condition!

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
As of now the fallen trees have been cleared off the trails and all the trails have been packed for skate skiing and the trails are in fair condition. No tracks set yet - we are hopeful to set them on Monday once the wind speeds die down.

No track set yet. I was told they would roll this afternoon. No news on classic. Also heard there are trees down on trail.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
I skied Ravine at about noon on Saturday. The trails had not been groomed since Friday evening's dusting. There is a great base for early December, I didn't see any bare spots. The woods at this park seem to help mitigate any wind damage. I selected rock skis but I think you could use B skis without much concern.

After the 5+ inches of snowfall the base is starting to look good for it being earlier in the season. All trails have been packed but have not been tracked.
