Trail Reports

2016-2017 season
Reports 9 to 13 of 13    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied a sizeable loop in the old back yard. Really nice tracks everywhere we went except the swamp loop which was an adventure. But it was clear of trees. A single set of large, fresh wolf tracks preceeded our tracks. Fresh snow in the track and falling now as I type.

Skied a good portion of the trails late morning/early afternoon. All trails had tracks set and the snow was in good condition.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The groomer set a single track on about the east 2/3 of the trail. From intersection 15 south to 21 and everything east and south to the parking lot. Six inch base and a pretty decent track now.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trails should be clear of all debris. We pulled the Tidd Tech groomers through today packing it 6-7 foot wide. Not quite enough snow to set a good track, but there is a good base. The next 3-4 inch snowfall we should begin setting the track. Few rocks still showing on the NW side of the trail system.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
We finished clearing windfall and debris from the early heavy snowfall. All the trails are open, however there is only about a 4" base under the new snow we've gotten this week. Don't bring your best skis.
