Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
2-3" of wet snow and temps above 32F prevented any grooming this morning. However a lot of skiers still showed up and skied in all the classic tracks. So one of the better crowds we have had in some time. Dan, our main groomer is coming in early to get as much done before temps warm up tomorrow. Come out early, as skating should be very good and classic should continue to be great. Light snow is falling around 6:30 pm.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We skied all the trails on the system Thursday as part of the Irish Challenge. Following three routes all trails are covered(32.2KM) with minimal overlap. Good coverage on all trails. I had good kick with Start Oslo Purple. Michelle had good skate conditions. Classic tracks are good and skate lanes are solid with good edge.

Firsthand: Freestyle

We still have a great base. Skating was very good. Nice edge and no icy spots, with light snow from last night on top. Classic tracks are still very good. I skied Tuesday with VR30 for kick. Lodge will be open every day through next week.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After skiing in snowing conditions for two days, today was a real treat! It didn't snow! It was a beautiful, mostly sunny day of skiing again on freshly groomed and tracked trails. It may sound redundant, but thanks again to those who groom here and give the current condition reports. When I arrived the last three days to ski, each day it was groomed and tracked ready to go. The only bad thing today, was that someone kept falling and causing major damage to the tracks for what seemed every 20 ft in some places on trail D. This damage then continued down Classic Heaven to so beware! This is a very special place to ski if you have never been here.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Just a dusting of snow overnight added to the 1 and a half inches that fell after grooming yesterday made for excellent grooming and trail conditions today. Those who were able to get out there today were in for a real treat.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Another good dumping of snow overnight and today to the tune of 6 or 7 inches total. Survived some grooming challenges and equipment issues to get the entire system groomed by noon and that made for alot of very happy skiers. Mid winter conditions for sure and the forecast for the rest of the week looks quite good.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Have gotten around 6 inches of new snow over the last couple days and are now at mid-winter conditions again. We still have a very deep base and other than the classic tracks being a little icy in the high wind areas of our trails overall conditions are excellent.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Another 1.5" of lake effect snow last night, which is grooming in very well. Classic tracks are very good and kick is easy to come by. Fresh snow provides a good edge for skaters and pole plants are solid. Come on out today.
