Great skiing on a fun and challenging 1.5K manmade loop with a major wooded climb at Elver Park in Madison. It took years to bring snowmaking to this great venue which already featured lighted trails and a big warming shelter with rentals. Many thanks to Yuriy Gusev, CXC, Madison Nordic Ski Club, City Parks and all the donors/volunteers for making it happen. I predict it will become prime venue for southern Wisconsin/northern Illinois nordic heads when nature doesn't cooperate.

Snowmaking completed on 750m (1/2 of the snowmaking loop). Rest will be completed today. Expect trail to be open by the weekend.
