Notes

The Lester-Amity trail offers 15K of varied terrain for beginner to experienced skiers through pine, aspen, and birch forests. An additional 3K circles the Lester Park Golf Course and is accessible from the main Lester-Amity Trail. The openness of the golf course offers an excellent place for beginning cross-country skiers, and several short cuts are available. There is also a 5K trail portion that is lit in the mornings and evenings.

Gorgeous day out- went just after noon- groomers must have been by this morning, fresh skate and classic decks. It was a bit bumpy on the D loop, every foot or so there were divets. No biggie but made for some vibrations. Overall just lovely.

It was an excellent night for skiing. The classic tracks were in very good conditions throughout except in a few corners. The skate deck looked well-used but also in good shape. CJ in the Chalet was friendly and chatty.

Perfect conditions today. Million thanks to the groomers who've done amazing job. classic track had a little glaze. Swix extra blue didn't do it so I added a little purple Klister for some awesome kick.

Beautiful day! Groomed with both classic and skate tracks open. Nice fluff on the skate track and fast classic track. Completed the full outer loop around the trails. Beautiful afternoon with less than 5 people spotted out.

Groomed and gorgeous. A nicely set track for classic and the skate deck is in great shape. Two small icy patches on a flat section east to step around. Fantastic skiing conditions.

There was a little new snow on the trails this morning. Skied the beginner and intermediate loops, essentially the perimeter. Firm tracks with only one or two spots that were icy. There had been only a couple other skiers before me, so I was on the new snow in the tracks for most of the loop. It was slow on the downhills today, but no problems going up the hills in the tracks. Lester was gorgeous this morning! Arrived at the right time to be the first skiers on freshly groomed trail. Trail looked like a skiing advertisement - thanks groomers!

Hard packed with a little fluff on top. The tracks are a bit glazed and the downhills are a bit skied off. Overall a very nice ski.
