Both sides of Valhalla are groomed and in good to excellent shape. Chalet is open. Bring kindling if you want a fire.

The Teuton and Valkyrie Trails have been cleared, rolled, and tracked as of Wednesday. There are still some branches and leaves falling into the trail. Also there maybe some branches or saplings bending into the trail due to the heavy snow. Skiers reported the trails as being in good condition to the groomers. Happy New Year!

With the snow that was received this weekend, there is finally enough snow to roll and groom. Because it is not known how many more trees or branches that have been knocked into or across the trail, it may take the groomers long because they are clearing the trail as they packing down the snow to set a base. The groomers are reporting a base of about 8 inches on Monday. With the additional snow received overnight, that base will continue to grow. The groomers will be working packing the snow and then setting track once the snow subsides. The warming room and chalet were officially opened on Monday.

Conditions: Ungroomed with classic track.
Has not been groomed but plenty of snow. Five skiers put down a classic track on the B loop on Thursday. 8 inches of soft snow.
