Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed and dropped a set of classic tracks tonight. Snow is a little thin, but wanted to get tracks down as best I could.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Fresh snow continues to help build a base. Groomed the ski trail (left side) and also rolled out the walking trail (right side). No classic trails set, as the snow is still a little thin. Still a little icy in some parts. But overall, much better than it has been.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Hiawatha was groomed this morning, but coverage is too thin for a classic track. There was an skier with an off-leash dog out and about this morning. Hiawatha is not an off-leash dog park, and rumor has it that MPRB police have been ticketing for this.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Let me first say thank you to the groomers for all the work your doing on this trail it has been a couple of year since we have be able to ski Hiawatha. I found the conditions rough, a lot of the trail has thin coverage and there is lots of icy spots. We just need more snow.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Recent snow really helped things. Still some patches of ice, but I was able to re-establish the full trail around Hiawatha. I did not lay down classic trails, but hope to do that in the next day or so. Please ski on trails so we avoid skiing on tee boxes and greens.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Finally, an inch or so of the new stuff made the trail skiable again this morning. Classic was difficult, but it was a skater's delight, with a few twigs where the trail runs under trees.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Snow and ice covering all trails. Tonight's snow put a thin layer out there, but trails are still mostly ice. Hope for more snow! Note: Skiers stay on the left, hikers and all others stay to the right. Please stay on the trails and please purchase a pass to support trail maintenance efforts.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trails are very icy with thin coverage in many spots. Some bare spots as well as some exposed sticks and rocks. Hills are sheer ice and very treacherous. This trail needs snow and may be considerable almost not worth skiing until conditions change.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Very icy, I skied off the groomed sections to avoid ice, grass, etc. Wind conditions gusty, human sail effect with wind at your back. Fast conditions made it fun to ski wherever your heart desires! [ Note: Park Board requests skiers do not ski off the groomed trails to avoid damage to parts of the golf course -- Ed. ]

Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
The trail is a skating rink. I found better much snow skiing the fairway crusts, one can really fly!
