Update from earlier today - One of the crew got ambitious and combed and set track on about 7k of trail late this afternoon. The skate deck is wavy and there are some wet spots but most of the trail is well snow covered. The tracks are good in places but thin under the pines with some dirt and needles. Waxless skis should work well in the tracks. We plan to continue combing out the trail tomorrow and possibly set more track.

We received about 6" of snow Tuesday after the rain and added another 2" of snow today. All the skate lanes have been rolled and I am told someone is skiing in the classic trail. There is some debris but the fallen trees have been cleaned up on the skate lanes. I do not know the condition of the classic trail at this time. Further grooming is being assessed.
