Recent mild temps and some rain have left the trails in poor condition. Cold temps Sunday may cause icy conditions.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
East side: Heavily used, but tracks are still in good skiing condition. West side: Moderately used, skate deck sound, tracks in very good skiing condition. Back country: Solid snow depth everywhere in the forest. Avoid the swales and Molash Creek which are not frozen. All skiers: enjoy the next few days, but please stay off the trails during the upcoming warm period. The groomers will appreciate the courtesy.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic

Ridges Trails were in perfect condition. Although it was a little difficult to keep going without stopping to take in the beautiful views of the snow covered pines. When you see this it makes you wonder how someone could hate snow?

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
Conditions: Very good striding. Very firm considering how much snow the area received.
Hard work paid off. The groomers rolled the trail on Tuesday, then groomed it late Tuesday which gave it time to set up. The thick pine forest was beautiful with the snow in the trees.

Grooming
[ B skis ]
6-8 inch packed base. 11 miles of classic tracks set Tuesday night and in good condition. Expect some debris from the high winds with the storm. 3.5 mile skate lane is packed and a bit soft and will be packed again Wednesday night.
