Classic tracks were set and were nice and fast, washed out in some places but no bare spots. Skate deck looked firm. I saw some people skating and it looked great.

Beautiful! Really flat, but really nice! Most trails double tracked. Skate deck seemed nice and firm. An eagle flew across the trail in front of us. How cool is that!

Newly groomed today! In fact I followed the groomer a couple of times during the course. Like many other areas, best ski conditions in years!

All trails were groomed again for skating and track was set as for all trails as well. Full coverage on all trails.

The county was just finishing grooming when I went out around 1pm. Nice fresh cord. A little soft still but should firm up. Tracks were set as well about half way around the loop. Best conditions they've had here since the Polar Vortex winter of 2014.

I went there for the first time today, hoping to find a nice skate ski place for a couple of hours. I found an empty golf course that looks like has not been groomed in days. A couples of classic skiers were trying to make their way but no tracks and certainly nothing even close to skate friendly. 3-4 inches of fresh snow is not good for skate ski. I was very disappointed.

Beautiful morning to ski. Snow was falling. Skate deck is still nice and firm, full coverage. It was a little icy underneath in some places. I did not think the classic tracks were set, enough people have classic skied that there are tracks. Backwoods loop was breathtaking!

All trails were groomed for skating today. No track was set. The skating deck has minor depressions and crumbs of snow on it but it also has a really good base and it is firm and fast. There are 3 or 4 spots on the cart path where pavement is exposed but you should be able to ski around it.

Good snow cover. All trails rolled and groomed and track set. Very good skiing both skate and classic.

Lots of snow at Chomonix in Lino Lakes. Wide corduroy was laid today. Classic tracks were not set. I hope they come back out and roll it again tomorrow and set the Classic Track. It was soft and slow. I am just grateful to be out skiing on this beautiful trail. Gorgeous day!
