Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
48 km of trails are groomed with skate lane and classic track. Remaining 22 km are packed only until more snow is received. Minor stubble in some areas yet. A couple small sections still have a rock or two poking through. Overall, groomed trails are in good shape.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Skied the summer home road and campground trails from Bearskin. Great skiing; could definitely use good skis on the summer home portion, although it would be wise to start from the dead-end road trail jct rather than the lodge parking lot as the spur trail from the lodge still has a few thin spots here and there. Thanks Bearskin for the well-groomed trails and awesome start to the ski season!

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Groomed Summer Home, Campground, and the lower section of the lit loop after receiving 5-6" of fresh snow over the last few days. B skis on the Lit loop, good skis would be fine on Summer Home.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Summer Home and Campground loop were groomed and tracked, but Sunday eve brought about an inch or so of new snow. Skiing was fine with only a few bare spots although new snow made them had to spot. I used B skate skies and waxless classic skis for a great afternoon.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Conditions: Good, but not as good as a few days ago.
Groomed Summer Home and Campground trails today. Mostly good coverage, with a few thin spots. The track on Summer Home is better than in the campground. It's good skiing, but be mindful of a couple low snow spots. We have some snow in the forecast, and it won't take much to get the trail back in great shape.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Conditions: Excellent grooming on campground loop and Summer home road for skate and classic. Skate deck firm and glide was fine in spite of temps just above freezing. Classic tracks were nicely set and waxless skis worked beutifiully.
On Saturday afternoon, skied several runs down Summer Home and around campground using both skate and classic gear and loved both. Snow cover is adequate for good skis but I used B skis. Hope it lasts!
