2022-2023 season
Reports 2 to 11 of 22    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec
Friday, February 24, 2023
Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Snow is thin but over 4-5 miles of trails are currently packed. Grooming plans: The rest of the trails will be packed down today so everything will be ready for the weekend. No classic track will be set due to the thinness of the snow. Grooming will most likely not continue after the weekend.

Morning
Observation
[ Trails: Closed, Bare ground ]
Trails are no longer skiable due to the melt of snow. There are patches of ice, but no trails still have snow that is either skate or classic ski ready. Most likely done for the season at this point.

Afternoon

[ Good skis ]
Skated while the groomer was out and conditions are perfect. Thank you for the work put in maintaining these trails. The classic tracks seemed to be in very good shape also.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
The skate deck was near perfect. Occasional shoe tracks but they were easy to avoid, and some areas of thinner coverage. Skied around 7 miles. Great job groomers.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Snow condition is good, but snow base is sort of thin. Not thin enough for bare ground to show. There are no classic tracks set but most of the trails have been backed and groomed for skate skiing at least.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
50% of trails are packed and grooming is continuing through the afternoon. Grooming plans: track will be set where it can, but might not happen until after the weekend. Snow pack is about 4 inches deep on packed trails with a layer of ice under the snow.

Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Trails are in rough shape with the wet weather. No tracks are being set until there is more snow. Open areas are in poor condition and almost un-skiable while the woods/covered areas are a little better and have been repacked/groomed but no classic track.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails are packed. Classic track will not be set until later this week if conditions allow. There are quite a few very thin spots in open areas, some with grass showing so grooming those areas cannot happen until more snowfall accumulates. Trails close to the parking lot have had a lot of traffic so conditions are rougher. Forested/covered areas still have a good snow pack and snow conditions are nice.

Friday, January 6, 2023
Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Trails are mostly packed but no classic tracks set. Snow pack is still thin, but skiable. Otherwise trail conditions with the temperatures are good. Trail heads are the thinnest areas right now and has the highest amount of foot traffic. Skis can be rented over the weekend.
