Trails were last groomed this morning and are currently in good condition. There are a few thin spots.

Skating was very good, fast in most spots but not icy. A little dirty (wood chips) near the start of brown/blue loops, but after that in very good shape for the rest of the trail.

Trails were groomed this morning, classic and skate. The skate lanes are in good shape, a few thin spots. The classic lanes are starting to suffer with the lack of fresh snow.

Coverage and grooming at Pike Lake were very good. Cold weather has made the corduroy crunchy but quick.

Skate lane groomed this afternoon. Track was set Tuesday and skate skiing - very good condition.

Very scenic. Ski-only section of the trail was groomed and nice. However, the multi-use section is unfit for skiing. In that section of the park, one downhill has a step that is essentially a one foot drop. Also, there are multiple road crossings. Although the multi-use section was listed for hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing, I wouldn't recommend it for skiing.

Conditions: Good coverage. Skate lane and classic track are ready! The trail was groomed earlier today. Somewhat soft conditions but there's good coverage. The classic track is set and is in very good condition. The skate lane is a little rough and irregular. The soft and deep wet snow was probably difficult to groom. Once it gets skied in and regroomed it should be nice. Generally good conditions.
Thankful for the late season snow and the efforts of the pike lake unit team!
