The St. Olaf Team skied around the upper Arb today. It was packed after the rain and had about 2 inches of packed ice with a little bit of snow. No tracks but no rocks either. We skied about 1:15 some skate and some double pole. Lots of wildlife with deer and a fox.

Nice moonlight ski. The deck is pretty compact, but with good coverage. An earlier start to the ski season in Northfield than recent years.

The upper arb was groomed this evening, and the corduroy was awesome! No classic tracks set. Probably still B skis, but I never hit or saw any rocks or dirt. Really nice conditions. Thank you groomers!

Very soft; looks rolled once, maybe twice, but not set well yet. Some trails still untouched. Skis sink a little, though some spots are better than others. Tough conditions for the year's first outing, but plenty of coverage to use your good sticks. Beautiful night, though 8 degrees looks to be the warm evening of the week. Yikes...layer up!

We did very well in this latest storm with 8-9" of snow. The upper arb was rolled this morning. The lower arb has not been rolled, but was getting a pretty good classic track skied in by this afternoon. Still rock ski conditions until things have more time to set up.
