[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Essex was rolled and combed this afternoon. Ski deck is thin in some spots but no rocks showing so you can use good skis. Snow is a bit soft and slow but still good skiing. Some walkers and dogs have left divots in the trail. I've heard Essex will be groomed again tomorrow. Enjoy.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
I rolled and combed Essex last night in hopes the snow would hold in the wind. NOT. Prairie trails are rough and not skiable. Trails in the woods are in poor to fair shape with leaves and sticks on the trail from the wind. We'll need more snow to get Essex in good shape. So, keep on doing your snow dance!
