Notes

Mcnaughton Lake Trail follows old logging roads around three lakes and has very few steep hills. It is very scenic and an excellent trail for a beginner. A five and a half mile loop is groomed for skating. There is a shelter with a fire ring on the trail.

[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Skied green loop and found it to be okay. Pretty soft and thin with only 3three inches but enough to get some glide and slide downhill. Mostly hiker and dog tracks, no groom to follow yet but cool to get out before Thanksgiving!

[ Rock skis ]
We have about 4 inches of snow on the ground. Temp was 20 degrees. We skied the yellow loop and part of skating trail towards shelter. We used rock skis. Glide was great, was fun to be on skis again - kicking and gliding.
