Trail Detail
Notes
Within the West Bend city limits sits a 148-acre natural area connected another 35 acres of neighborhood park. It offers a beautiful setting in the hilly Kettle Moraine. The groomed trails traverse a prairie and take you through a deciduous woodland and a red pine plantation. Other ungroomed trails are open for both skiers and snow-shoers.Trail Reports

Track was reset today after about 3" of new snow since last grooming. Conditions are the best they have been in two years.

The trails were groomed this morning after last night's 4" snowfall. Track was set for the first time this season. The base is fairly firm but may get better after the next cold snap coming tomorrow. Excellent conditions as long as the hikers and deer stay off tracks.

I rolled the trails Monday morning. Too little snow to set a track. The 5" powdery snow compacted to only about 2-3." However, no bare ground and the base may firm up with the cold the cold overnight temps.
