Notes

Rolling trails along the St. Croix River bluff located at Jackson Meadows. Most of the trail system is south of the housing area, although some trails are set at the Central Meadow. 25% of trails are singletrack classic-only (narrow, 6 ft wide trails).

2" Light fluffy snow. All trails groomed and new classic tracks set on most trails.

Conditions: Most of the trail is firm. There is a little ice here and there.
Groomer was out today. The skate trail looks good. I skied the classic and it was pretty good. Its a little thin in some sections.

Grooming

Conditions: 2-3"of new snow. Trails are groomed and tracked.
Still a few thin spots, but overall trails look good. Too thin to set tracks in the pine forest on the east side of neighborhood. Trails should firm up nicely with the cold temps!

Conditions: Good for skating.
Some leaves and sticks poking through on hills and under large trees, but overall fairly good skiing. Nice grooming. Great to be out!

Trails groomed early this morning. Two inches new snow. Still thin under the pine trees. Still some dirt spots on the West Side. Overall much improved.

Packed and groomed this morning. Skating was good out of the woods with a thin base. Under the trees I was glad I had rock skis. Hats off to the groomer for making it happen.

Conditions: Good, pretty soft.
Trails were all nicely groomed and had decent coverage except in the woods. Other places there was debris, but nothing too bad. I would grab your old skis still. Saw about 15 other skiers in the two hours we were out there.
