[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Mechanical issues continue, but we got the new Titan on the trail with the old Tidd until we get it wired for the Ginzu. We have 15 K groomed and tracked, including portions of the Blue trail not affected by the logging. Soft conditions this afternoon with temps in the low 30s, but should cool down enough tonight to set up.

2" snow overnight. All trails groomed and tracked. The Renegade Trail was packed but remains closed until we get more snow. There were no skiers out this morning as the temp never got above zero.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The Green, Orange, Yellow, Red and Blue Return trails were groomed with the ginzu and tracked for the first time this season. Mechanical issues with the tracker led to an improvised pattern, but striders will appreciate the deep tracks which should set up with cold temps.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
We hauled the groomers in today and had several inches of powder to groom over a rolled base. Despite some equipment issues we groomed about 12k with the ginzu. Still not enough snow to set track. The Green, Orange, Yellow and Red loops are open full width. The Blue trail to Voyageurs National Park remains closed until logging is completed. The Blue Return was rolled by the logger and will be open to skiing soon.

Two sleds, two rollers got the Green packed down, but got stuck in the mud doing it. Then onto Orange, Yellow, and Red which went fine. The flat sections look good for skating, lots of rocks on the Red trail.

Firsthand: Freestyle Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
With more new snow I rolled again today on Orange and Yellow. Looking better, still lots of rocks especially on ridges. The Green is too soft/wet to work, although folks have set tracks through it to the shelter.
I skated in the afternoon and it was really fine given we're still mid-November. If you ski be sure to wear Orange because there are deer hunters on the south parts of the trail system.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Burgess rolled the Bogwalk and Orange/Yellow loops yesterday. The flats have just enough snow to ski. None of the rock ridges are safe to ski, unless you have a long white beard! Base should set up this week with cold temps overnight. Use caution if you venture out, the obstacles are obvious and deer hunting is still on through the weekend.
