Conditions have deteriorated a lot since earlier this week. Rock ski conditions on all trails due to sporadic thin spots.

Sugar Bush, Sky and Lake are the firmest and widest trails so far. The wooded sections have 100% coverage, but some dirt is poking through in the open areas where the prairie was restored this fall. When I drove through the park this morning on Victoria Drive, the Nature Center trail appeared to be groomed two passes wide now.

Variable, but much better than I expected. Sugar Bush, Sky and Lake are the the firmest. Sugar Bush has good coverage whereas sky and lake have a few thin spots. B skis for these. There's some nasty looking ice towards the end of of these loops. Grimm, King and the Nature center spur were pretty soft and had some thinner spots, but skill skied surprisingly well. Rock skis for these. No classic tracks.

No classic grooming. All trails open. Some rocks and dirt on Grimm, especially down by lake. Cold but inspiring.

Rolled and good conditions. My son hit one rock. Lake and sugar bush done. Working on the rest as we departed.

Had to get out today. Cut my own tracks or skied in the tire tracks of park ATV. As I was skiing park official came in laying down corduroy but no set tracks. Gorgeous day, not many out, like back-country...

Snowflake and Skye trails were packed so about 4k of trails are open. The trail was pretty soft but no rocks or sticks and the groomer was still out packing the trails. No classic track yet.
