The dirty spots are getting bigger, but are avoidable, and for the most part the skiing is fast and fun. The tracks looked like mostly ice and not in great shape.

Uneven ground under the trail brought up many areas of dirt and wood chips after the last grooming. Classic track appeared pretty good.

A morning Winter Solstice ski found good conditions on all trails with some short segments where stubble or bare spots were showing. Trails had been packed and tracked yesterday. Conditions were surprisingly good given the warming temperatures.

Overall very good skating conditions with a few leaves, occasional small brown spots that are easily avoided.

Trails are groomed. Tracks are set on most trails. Excellent snow coverage but a bit soft and slow. Couple ice patches across low spots near marshes.

Skijored the multi-use trail and it really varied. There were sections of gopher mounds poking through, lots of debris, and uneven sections. But there were also decent stretches of a nice skate deck. You could often see pavement at the bottom of footprints, but it was solid enough that I didn't reach it with my skis. But still, keep your race skis at home.

Fair to good condition overall. Impressive coverage and grooming! Better conditions than some entire seasons in the past. Possible to use your B skis if you're watchful, but better off with rock skis. No classic track yet.

Freshly rolled. Skate only. Some slushy marsh areas. Numerous sticks and dirt poking through. Totally awesome.
