The Loppet Foundation has been running their snow guns and has stated that their crew is focusing its work near the lower stadium, with the hope of completing a small loop in that area first, and then adding on from there.

Staff members are making preparations and will be setting up snow guns tomorrow morning for making snow as soon as conditions allow. The forecast is looking like mid to late day on Tuesday conditions will be right to start the guns and we plan to make snow 24/7 for the foreseeable future.

Stopped by this afternoon. Snow is pretty much gone and there is a lot of grass peaking out. Doesn't look good until they start making snow.

There will be no snowmaking at Wirth tonight. It's too warm and humid.

Conditions: We received 1.5 inches of snow which is not enough to roll or groom.
Snowmaking update: We have made snow on a portion of the lower stadium. The snowmaking is currently on standby due to warm nighttime temperatures. The snowmaking crew members are on call for Friday night, but we are waiting to see if gets cold enough.

Conditions: As much grass as snow but lots of fun.
I kicked around on the flat side of the golf course. You have to find the white slippery sections and work them. I was able to make a 7 minute loop. Used skintecs. They are great for grass and leaves.

Saturday night the Wirth Park snow making crew started blowing snow in the lower stadium.
