The snowmaking loop was great. Classic tracks were set and firm. Overall, perfect conditions. Hopefully we get several days of this!

It's March and there is too much snow at Theodore! Went out around 830. Inches of snow had fallen since grooming, so skating was a bit tough as I had to pick up my feet. But can't complain. When the snowfall stops, conditions should be near perfect after the next grooming.

Fresh grooming this morning after our big snowfall! I removed about 40 branches from the trail so it is largely debris free, but I recommend B skis to be safe - there are some branches buried in snow. Great March skiing!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received about 4-5 inches of high moisture snow yesterday and overnight. Manmade snow was groomed and tracked this morning. Crews are out this morning rolling natural snow trails and they will groom and track those when finished rolling.

Freshly groomed conditions. Very good except for debris. Strong winds causing twigs and branches to litter the course here and there, please try to remove from trail -- will help those in your wake. Temp drop firming up course and new snow with depressed temps should revitalize course.

Afternoon

[ Good skis ]
Skied Sunday afternoon, expected poor conditions, encountered the opposite. Soft trail but surprisingly intact with a good glide. The woody debris is more manifest but overall an excellent outing. Did not ski the Hap/Judy loop. Suspect with the forecast snow and cooler temps that good skiing conditions should prevail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We continue to groom all the natural snow trails daily. The conditions are good with the exception of a few icy spots considering the warm weather. We were able to set new classic tracks on a large portion (about 70%) of the natural snow trails this morning.

Still good coverage including the non-lit trails. Judy was difficult on the downhills, with a few ruts in the skate lane.

First tracks on the non-lit portion of the snowmaking loop. Very nicely groomed and fast. A couple spots that look like they will be bare with a few more days in the 40s. Would recommend going in the morning to avoid the slushy melted snow others are commenting about.

Skied the Hap and Twin Lake loops this morning and they were amazing. Capital A. The cold snow with a fresh groom on it was a nice change from the melty mashed potatoes I skied on yesterday. My advice, ski in the morning and enjoy the sunrise.
