Annual Double Birkie Saturday, Dec 27th

The 28th annual Double Birkie will start from Fish Hatchery trailhead in Hayward at 8 AM on Saturday, December 27th. Lunch will be served at 11 AM at the North End Cabin by the Brick House cafe. Bring $10 for soup, sandwich, cookie and fruit. Double 'OO' is our intermediate stop in both directions. We will ski into our glorious sunset finish at about 3:30 PM. If the weather cools as forecast, they hope to groom the whole trail Friday night. Skiers can join in and ski as much of the roughly 90k (up and back) as they want. Tom Schuler, Steve Tilford and Dennis Kruse will be part of the usual crew leading the way.
